  • Cool Mount Abu plateau weather, with pleasant walking from October to February
  • Combines easily with Nakki Lake, the Dilwara temples and other Mount Abu sights

Risks

  • Rocks can turn slippery and paths narrow and steep on Mount Abu nature trails (Outlook Traveller); wear shoes with good grip.
  • Rajasthan Tourism suggests avoiding the monsoon season, which can hinder exploring.
  • Route length and the exact walking path from town are not confirmed by an official source; the 10 km figure doubles the 5 km distance from Mount Abu that tourism sources quote. Ask the forest office for the current permitted route.
